The China International Coatings Fair 2026 (the 24th China International Coatings Exhibition) was held at Shanghai New International Expo Center from July 15 to 17, 2026. Concurrent with the exhibition, the Sourcing Matchmaking Conference of China International Coatings Fair 2026 was successfully staged at the venue on the morning of July 16.
The conference aims to connect the upstream and downstream supply chains covering coating raw materials, additives, production equipment and finished coatings. It matches high-quality purchasers with compliant suppliers, helping enterprises cut costs, expand customer resources and seal cooperation efficiently.
The coatings industry is currently confronted with multiple headwinds including volatile global supply chains and fluctuating raw material prices, among which information asymmetry between upstream and downstream players stands out as a prominent issue. This matchmaking conference serves as an offline platform for targeted and efficient business matching. By pre-screening demands and conducting targeted one-on-one pairing, it effectively reduces enterprises’ costs for supplier sourcing and procurement.
Speakers at the conference highlighted that digital tools will be continuously leveraged to empower the whole industrial chain, enabling enterprises to achieve supplier sourcing, cost reduction, efficiency improvement and risk mitigation. Joint efforts will be made to advance the green and high-quality transformation of China’s coatings industry.
